Hello, my name is Lisa Maness. I am proud to announce my affiliation with eXp Realty , having recently joined the firm as a real estate associate broker. Following is a brief summary of my background. My ancestors came to The Kingdom New Mexico in 1598 with the expedition of don Juan de Oñate, making me a fourteenth generation descendant of the founding families of this great state. I was born in Las Cruces, reared in Albuquerque, resided in Río Rancho, and currently live in Bernalillo with my husband Joe. As you can see, I am a daughter of New Mexico, tried and true! I attended NMSU, and then UNM, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology. I subsequently received a Master’s Degree in Special Education from UNM along with my teaching license. My inspiration to become a special education teacher, and eventually a special needs administrator, came from my younger brother Mark who was afflicted with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a disease that eventually took his
